Meet the Bride & Groom

Rebekah Joy was born and raised in Delano, Minnesota and fell for Matt’s charm in Mr. Ludwig’s 3rd grade class. Deciding to tag along with her family, she packed up her things and moved to the Hoosier State to finish off grade school and eventually study Accounting at Ball State University in lovely Muncie, Indiana.

Reconnecting during her college years with her long lost love, Beks decided to pack her things and head back to Minnesota after accepting an accounting job in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities to be with her sweetheart.

A former city slicker from Eden Prairie, Matt and the rest of the Christians family migrated northwest to a town called Delano at the ripe age of 11. Matt began his endless pursuit of knowledge in Mr. Ludwig's 3rd grade classroom, sitting across from his future wife, Bekah.

A northerner at heart, Matt headed up to the University of Minnesota Duluth after graduating from High School where he studied Management Information Systems and loved every second of it. To say the least, he's pretty excited to be marrying such a wonderful girl.

Despite nearly pulling each other's hair out every morning while getting ready for school in high school, I wouldn't trade my younger sister Kristen for anything in the world. She's a cake boss and will be making my wedding cake. It means the world to me she continues to support me even though she's working hard through nursing school at Indiana University.

My older sister Erika has been my best friend from the day one, even though she used to boss me around and pinch my cheeks. She's a kickass labor and delivery nurse and lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Ben. Erika has been a huge support with the whole wedding process and I'm so lucky to have her as a big sis.

When I first met Ally, she was dressed up like a cat. It was Halloween during our freshman year of college, but eventually became roommates and then best friends ever since. Even though she lives in Kentucky now, we have kept our bond with our mutual love of accounting and guys named Matt.

Kara is one of the sweetest girls that I know. We've been friends since we were young gals in Delano. She has been such a great friend and someone I can rely on now that I live in Minnesota. If it wasn't for her, I'd probably be losing my mind (and packing my bags).

Monique is the Garth to my Wayne and has been my best friend since I moved to the Hoosier state in 6th grade. She's one of the most caring people I know and never keeps me from laughing my head off in awkward situations. She's a modern day Picasso and is the artistic side of our friendship, thankfully. Although many miles have separated us, we just haven’t been able to shake each other.

Sav is a cutie pie with plenty of sass. She's Matt's cousin and always lights up the room. Savvy will be the sweetest flower girl!

Since moving to Delano in 3rd grade, Jazz has been sharing his dance moves and Doritos with me each and every day. I've had the luxury, and I do mean LUXURY, of living with my bff for the past four years and couldn't be more proud to have him standing by my side on our wedding day.

Andy is not only the brother closest in age to me, but also one of my best friends, and I'm sure those two facts probably have something to do with one another. I consider myself lucky to have him as a brother, even if he transfered from 5-star UMD to a 2.4-Star UMTC.

Despite taking countless Vanilla Cokes from me growing up (or that could have been the other way around), I couldn't be more excited to have one of my best friends, a brother in faith, and un-admitted amateur model with me on my wedding day.

From early mornings goose hunting, afternoons at practice, and late nights most likely up to nothing good, it's safe to say I've spent a fair share of my life in the good company of John. He's one of the best guys I know and always putting a smile on faces around him. I couldn't imagine getting married without him standing beside me.

Mikey is brother three of four, and currently the tallest in the family, but that won't last long as I feel another growth spurt coming along soon. Growing up with Mikey was a blast and I hope our relationship continues to grow as brothers and as friends.

If you've never met Ryan just imagine me but four inches taller, but not quite as cool (just kidding Ryan!) He's my youngest brother and has the potential to become the best stick-handler if in the family, and will hopefully be pulling on a Bulldog sweater one day! I'm beyond blessed to have Ryan, and all my brothers with me on my wedding day.

Joe is the baby of Bekah's family but towers over everyone. He's the Jimi Hendrix of our generation and can easily bring the house down. Seriously though, I'm not kidding.

Drew is a family-friend of Bekah and such a cool little dude. He loves cars, cars, and more cars. There's no doubt that he will add so much fun to our wedding.
